Cliff Lede Roundabout Midnight Rock Block Series 2019 is a striking Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that brings together power, precision, and a distinctly musical identity. From the iconic Stags Leap Estate, this Rock Block bottling blends fruit from the “Roundabout” and “'Round Midnight” parcels, celebrating the meeting point of rock and jazz in a wine of serious depth and character.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this 2019 vintage appears deep and concentrated, with an almost inky core that hints at its richness and intensity. The nose opens with layers of blackcurrant, dark cherry, cedar, and dried violet, followed by subtle accents of graphite and spice from oak aging. On the palate, it is dense and focused, with ripe dark fruit framed by silk-smooth tannins and a refined, polished texture. Notes of dark chocolate, savory spice, and crushed rock add complexity, while the finish is long, structured, and beautifully balanced. Built for cellaring, it has the concentration and backbone to develop gracefully over many years.

Viininvalmistus
The fruit comes from steep hillside blocks at Cliff Lede’s Stags Leap Estate, where volcanic soils help shape the wine’s firm structure, mineral edge, and concentrated fruit profile. The grapes are hand-harvested and vinified in small lots to preserve parcel character and allow careful extraction. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 21 months in French oak barrels, with a significant portion being new oak, adding polish, spice, and additional layering without overwhelming the terroir expression.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs beautifully with grilled ribeye, lamb chops, braised short ribs, or a classic herb-roasted tenderloin. It also works well with aged hard cheeses and dishes featuring mushrooms or truffle. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for 1–2 hours if drinking now to allow the wine to open and show its full aromatic range.
