Delamotte Brut

Delamotte Brut is a beautifully composed Champagne from one of the most respected names in the region, and a true showcase of the house style: elegant, mineral-driven, and refreshingly precise. As the sister house to the legendary Salon, Delamotte benefits from exceptional Chardonnay sourced from the Grand Cru village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, giving this non-vintage cuvée remarkable finesse and class.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, Delamotte Brut shows a bright, pale golden color with lively, persistent bubbles. The nose opens with a graceful floral bouquet, followed by notes of ripe apricot, citrus zest, and a fine chalky minerality that reflects its Champagne origins. On the palate, it is medium-bodied yet strikingly crisp, combining elegance with a fresh, linear structure. The wine offers excellent balance between fruit, acidity, and texture, finishing clean and dry with a refined mineral edge. While delicious now, it also has the structure to develop additional complexity over a few years in bottle.

Delamotte Brut is rooted in the chalk-rich terroir of Champagne, with fruit coming from prized Chardonnay vineyards, especially in and around Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, one of the region’s top Grand Cru sites. The grapes are harvested by hand to preserve quality and freshness, then vinified with a focus on clarity, precision, and the signature elegance of the house style.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Delamotte Brut is a versatile Champagne for refined dining and works especially well with oysters, shellfish, sashimi, light poultry dishes, and delicate goat’s cheese. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary.
