On the palate, it is dry, elegant, and well balanced, with a clean mineral line and a focused, fresh acidity that keeps the wine vibrant. The lees ageing brings extra texture and depth, while the finish is long and precise. It should drink beautifully now and has the structure to develop gracefully over the next few years.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from the En Villerange vineyard in Rully, a site known for its chalky limestone soils that help shape the wine’s brisk acidity and mineral character. Harvesting is done with care to preserve the quality and natural expression of the Chardonnay, and the winemaking is deliberately gentle and hands-off. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels, including a small proportion of new wood, followed by ageing on the lees for up to a year. This approach adds complexity, texture, and subtle depth while keeping the fruit bright and the terroir clearly in focus.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Chardonnay pairs well with roast chicken, grilled or pan-seared fish, shellfish, creamy pasta dishes, and soft-rind cheeses. It also works beautifully with dishes that include butter, herbs, or light cream sauces. Serve chilled at around 10-12°C, and decanting is generally not necessary, though a short airing can help if the wine is very youthful.
