Domaine de la Roche Aiguë Hautes Côtes Beaune Rouge La Dalignère 2022 is a refined Pinot Noir from the higher slopes of the Hautes Côtes de Beaune, offering the freshness and lift you want from the region with a pleasing touch of spice and softness. Sourced from a single parcel in La Dalignère, this wine stands out for its elegant balance, expressive fruit, and a terroir that echoes the character of nearby Pommard.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a classic ruby-red color. The nose is inviting and layered, with notes of blackberry, blueberry, redcurrant, cherry pit, pepper, and forest floor. The palate brings ripe red fruit, a generous sense of complexity, and finely integrated tannins that give the wine structure without losing its charm. The finish is long, soft, and supple, making it enjoyable already now while still having the balance to develop further over the next few years.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from a parcel at around 320 meters above sea level in La Dalignère, a site in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune with soils reminiscent of Pommard. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, and the fruit is partially destemmed before pressing and fermentation. The wine is then matured for around 12 months, mainly in used oak barrels, allowing the fruit and site character to remain front and center.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Pinot Noir is an excellent match for roast poultry, duck, grilled salmon, mushroom dishes, and lighter game such as venison or quail. It also works beautifully with soft cheeses and earthy vegetarian dishes. Serve slightly cool, ideally around 15-17°C, and decanting is not necessary, though a short aeration can help it open up in its youth.
