Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Assortment 2013 is a rare collector’s selection from one of Burgundy’s most revered estates, featuring legendary vineyards such as Romanée-Conti, La Tâche, Richebourg, Romanée-St-Vivant, Grands Echézeaux, and Echézeaux. Presented in its original wooden case, this is a remarkable showcase of Pinot Noir at its most refined, expressive, and historically significant.

The 2013 vintage is expected to show the grace and precision that define Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, with each cuvée expressing its own personality while remaining unmistakably Burgundian. In the glass, the wines typically display a deep ruby core with brilliant transparency, followed by aromas of red cherry, wild berries, violets, spice, earth, and subtle oak nuances.
On the palate, the wines range from the silkier, more elegant character of Romanée-St-Vivant to the powerful structure and depth of Richebourg and the concentrated, velvety richness of La Tâche. Romanée-Conti is known for exceptional harmony and layered complexity, while Echézeaux and Grands Echézeaux often bring darker fruit and greater muscle. These wines are built for long aging, with the finest bottles capable of evolving beautifully over decades.
Viininvalmistus
Sourced from some of Burgundy’s finest limestone and clay soils, these vineyards benefit from an exceptional terroir that gives Pinot Noir its perfume, purity, and mineral tension. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti follows a largely organic approach, focusing on soil balance, extremely low yields, careful pruning, and strict selection in the vineyard. Grapes are hand-harvested, often later than neighboring domaines, with an additional pre-harvest cleaning pass to remove anything below standard.
After picking, the fruit is sorted again by hand before vinification and maturation in entirely new French oak barrels from François Frères in Saint-Romain. The wines are aged for 16 to 18 months before bottling, allowing each vineyard’s character to develop with remarkable finesse and depth.
Ruoka & tarjoilu
This assortment deserves refined cuisine that complements its elegance and complexity, such as roast duck, pigeon, veal, truffle dishes, game birds, wild mushrooms, or aged cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting younger bottles for about 1 to 2 hours to help the aromatics open fully and soften the structure.

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is one of the most prestigious names in Burgundy, with a history that stretches back more than eight centuries and through nine owners. The estate took its modern form in 1869 when M. Duvault-Blochet acquired the domaine, while its name traces back to the 18th century, when Louis-François de Bourbon, Prince of Conti, added his title to La Romanée. Today the domaine is led by Aubert de Villaine and Henri Roch, and it remains a benchmark for Pinot Noir and one of the most celebrated producers in the world.
