Domaine des Petits Champs Lins Meursault Les Tillets 2023 is a refined and elegant Chardonnay from one of Meursault’s most distinctive high-altitude sites. The vineyard’s elevated position brings a bright, mineral-driven style that balances Meursault’s natural richness with exceptional freshness and finesse, making this a beautifully precise expression of Burgundy.

In the glass, the wine shows a pale golden colour with subtle green reflections, hinting at its youthful energy and brightness. The nose is layered and graceful, with aromas of white flowers, citrus, pear, and peach, lifted by notes of toasted almonds, acacia honey, and a fine chalky mineral character. On the palate, it offers a compelling mix of creamy texture and vibrant acidity. Flavours of ripe lemon, stone fruit, brioche, and a touch of vanilla unfold धीरे gently, while the mineral core gives the wine focus and length. The finish is long, fresh, and elegant, with a subtle saline edge. This is a wine with excellent ageing potential and will develop additional depth and complexity over the coming years.

Viininvalmistus
Les Tillets is a high-altitude single vineyard in Meursault, where the cooler exposure helps preserve freshness, tension, and mineral purity in the fruit. The grapes are harvested by hand to ensure optimal quality, then gently pressed to maintain a clean and expressive profile. Fermentation takes place under controlled temperatures, followed by ageing in French oak barrels, including a proportion of new oak, to add complexity without overshadowing the wine’s natural elegance.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Meursault pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as grilled shellfish, turbot with beurre blanc, chicken in a mushroom cream sauce, or mature cheeses like Comté and Gruyère. Serve it chilled at around 10–12°C to best showcase its aromatic detail and structure. Decanting is not essential, but a brief decant can help open the wine if enjoyed young.
