Domaine des Terres de Velle Meursault Blanc 2018 Magnum is a classic expression of one of Burgundy’s most celebrated white wine appellations. Made from Chardonnay sourced from just two parcels and produced in extremely limited quantities, it offers the richness, depth, and unmistakable presence that make Meursault so highly regarded.

In the glass, this Meursault shows the inviting golden hue typical of a well-crafted Burgundy white. The nose is generous and expressive, with aromas of ripe peach, fresh apple, and citrus layered over a subtle mineral edge. On the palate, it combines plenty of volume and fruit concentration with a fine underlying freshness, giving the wine both richness and clarity. The texture is broad and satisfying, with a long, fruit-driven finish that carries the wine’s mineral backbone through to the end. While already highly enjoyable, the magnum format and traditional élevage suggest excellent aging potential, allowing the wine to develop even greater nuance over time.

Viininvalmistus
This Meursault comes from two carefully selected parcels with chalky soils and an ideal exposure that help create the balance and structure expected from the appellation. The grapes are hand-harvested and pressed immediately upon arrival at the cellar to preserve freshness and precision. Fermentation and maturation take place in oak barrels for 15 to 18 months, with the exact aging period determined by the character of the vintage to achieve the best possible balance.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Serve this wine with fish dishes, especially richer preparations such as roasted white fish, sole with butter sauces, or shellfish. It also pairs beautifully with dry cheeses. The ideal serving temperature is around 10-12°C, and decanting is generally not necessary, though a short aeration can help if opened in its youth.
