Domaine Dujac Chambolle-Musigny 2011 is a beautifully poised Pinot Noir from one of the Côte de Nuits’ most admired domaines. It captures the appellation’s signature finesse and perfume, while showing the precision, purity, and subtle modern energy that have made Dujac a benchmark for elegant Burgundy. Chambolle-Musigny itself is one of the region’s most historic and coveted villages, long prized for wines of grace, texture, and aromatic depth.

Makuprofiili
The wine shows a refined, transparent ruby colour typical of well-made Pinot Noir from Burgundy. On the nose, it opens with red cherry, ripe raspberry, and wild strawberry, layered with violet, delicate spice, and a light earthy forest-floor character that adds complexity. The palate is silky and finely textured, with lively freshness carrying the fruit rather than overpowering it. A mineral edge brings definition and tension, while the tannins remain elegant and polished. The finish is long, nuanced, and composed, suggesting attractive drinking now with the potential to develop further complexity over the next several years.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs especially well with roasted duck, quail, pheasant, mushroom dishes, veal, and lightly seasoned lamb, as well as classic Burgundian fare such as coq au vin. Serve at 15–17°C. Decanting is recommended if opening young, ideally 30–60 minutes before serving, to allow the aromas to unfurl fully.
