Domaine Dujac Chambolle-Musigny 2013 is a beautifully poised Burgundy from one of the Côte de Nuits’ most admired villages. Sourced from several small parcels of old Pinot Noir vines on limestone and clay soils, it captures the finesse, purity, and quiet depth that make Chambolle-Musigny such a benchmark for elegant red Burgundy. The cool 2013 vintage adds a distinctly classical profile, emphasizing freshness, precision, and terroir expression.

In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows a graceful, medium-bodied red-fruit profile with a refined, translucent ruby color. The bouquet opens with violet, cherry, and raspberry, layered with subtle spice and earthy forest-floor notes that give the wine extra dimension and charm. On the palate, it is elegant and beautifully balanced, with silky tannins and lively acidity that carry the fruit with energy and length. The structure is delicate yet persistent, and the wine now shows a harmonious maturity while still retaining the freshness and clarity of the 2013 vintage. Viininvalmistus
This wine comes from a blend of small parcels in Chambolle-Musigny, where old Pinot Noir vines are rooted in limestone and clay soils that lend both finesse and mineral tension. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with partial whole clusters, a technique that enhances aromatic complexity and supports the wine’s refined structure. After fermentation, it matures for around a year in French oak barrels, with a moderate proportion of new oak adding subtle depth without overwhelming the wine’s delicate character.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is an excellent match for dishes that complement Pinot Noir’s elegance, such as roast duck, guinea fowl, mushroom risotto, veal, or herb-roasted chicken. It also pairs well with soft, washed-rind, or aged alpine cheeses. Serve at around 15–17°C, and consider decanting for about 20–30 minutes if the bottle has been recently opened, though it can also be enjoyed straight from the bottle as it develops in the glass.
