Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche Grand Cru 2009 is a striking example of Burgundy at its most refined, drawn from one of Morey-Saint-Denis’ most celebrated Grand Cru sites. With its old Pinot Noir vines, limestone-clay soils, and Dujac’s signature use of whole clusters, this wine combines depth, precision, and elegance in a style that has made the domaine a benchmark for the region.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby color that already hints at the wine’s concentration and maturity. The bouquet opens with dark cherry, blackberry, violet, and subtle spice, all layered with a distinctive mineral edge and the gentle touch of oak. On the palate, the wine is concentrated yet beautifully balanced, with silky tannins, precise acidity, and a long, graceful finish. The 2009 vintage is now approaching full maturity, offering a rounded, harmonious profile while still retaining enough freshness and structure to continue developing for several more years.

Viininvalmistus
This Grand Cru comes from the famed Clos de la Roche parcel in Morey-Saint-Denis, where limestone- and clay-rich soils, together with old Pinot Noir vines, create wines of power, finesse, and aromatic complexity. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with a high proportion of whole clusters to enhance structure, lift, and complexity. After fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels, with a moderate share of new oak adding subtle spice and depth without overshadowing the purity of the fruit.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as duck breast, roast pigeon, game bird, wild mushroom risotto, or aged cheeses like Comté and Époisses. Serve at around 16–18°C for the best expression of its aromatics and texture. Decanting for about 30–60 minutes is recommended if serving now, especially to help the wine open and show its full complexity.
