Domaine Dujac Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru 2010 is a beautifully composed Burgundy that captures the elegance and precision the domaine is known for. Sourced from carefully selected parcels on limestone- and clay-rich slopes, this Pinot Noir combines depth, finesse, and a distinct sense of place, making it a superb example of Morey-Saint-Denis at its best.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-red color. The nose is layered and inviting, with aromas of cherry, raspberry, forest floor, and a subtle touch of spice. The palate is concentrated yet graceful, with silky tannins, balanced acidity, and a mineral thread that adds length and refinement. The 2010 vintage is now beautifully mature and rounded, yet it still retains freshness and definition, suggesting it can continue to evolve further with careful cellaring.

Viininvalmistus
This wine comes from selected vineyard parcels on limestone and clay soils in Morey-Saint-Denis, where old Pinot Noir vines contribute both intensity and finesse. The grapes are harvested by hand and partially vinified with whole clusters to preserve freshness, complexity, and terroir expression. After fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels, with a moderate proportion of new oak adding structure and a discreet spice note without dominating the fruit.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is an excellent match for roasted duck, quail, game birds, mushroom dishes, and delicately prepared lamb. It also pairs well with aged cheeses and earthy dishes that echo its forest-floor character. Serve at around 16-18°C, and decanting for about 30-60 minutes can help reveal its full aromatic complexity, especially if opened while still youthful.
