Domaine Dujac Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts 2012 is a finely judged Burgundy from one of the most admired addresses in the Côte de Nuits. Sourced from limestone and clay slopes planted with old Pinot Noir vines, it combines intensity, perfume, and the kind of refinement that has made Vosne-Romanée one of Burgundy’s most celebrated villages.

In the glass, this wine shows a ruby-red color and a classic Vosne-Romanée bouquet of cherry, blackberry, forest floor, and subtle spice. The aromatics are lifted and layered, with the fruit gradually unfolding alongside earthy and mineral nuances. On the palate, it is concentrated yet harmonious, with silky tannins, balanced acidity, and a refined mineral line that carries the finish. The 2012 vintage is now showing beautifully, offering both immediate appeal and the structure to continue developing gracefully over time.

Viininvalmistus
Les Beaux Monts comes from limestone- and clay-rich slopes in Vosne-Romanée, where old Pinot Noir vines produce fruit with depth, finesse, and natural complexity. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with a significant proportion of whole clusters, adding structure and aromatic detail. After fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels, with a moderate share of new oak lending subtle spice and extra dimension without masking the wine’s elegance.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs beautifully with roast duck, guinea fowl, pigeon, mushroom dishes, and fine cuts of veal or lamb. It also works well with truffled dishes and aged cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 30–60 minutes can help the wine open up, especially if opened in its youth.
