Domaine Garon Côte-Rôtie "Lancement" 2019 is a highly expressive Syrah from one of the northern Rhône’s most prestigious appellations. Sourced from the Lancement parcel on Côte Blonde, it combines deep concentration with remarkable finesse, offering the kind of pedigree and site-specific character that makes Côte-Rôtie so sought after.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows a deep ruby color with violet reflections, hinting at both youth and intensity. The nose is layered and refined, with aromas of black raspberry, blueberry, spring flowers, violets, crushed stone, and black pepper, unfolding with time in the glass. The palate is rich and generous, delivering dark fruit, spice, and a vibrant line of acidity that keeps the wine fresh and focused. Its long, persistent finish and structured profile suggest excellent aging potential, with the ability to gain even more nuance and depth over the years.

Viininvalmistus
Lancement comes from a prized plot on Côte Blonde, where sandy, decomposed rock soils and terraces of pure stone contribute to the wine’s elegance, minerality, and aromatic lift. The grapes are partially destemmed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks, a method that helps preserve purity of fruit and precision. The wine is then matured for 24 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which are new, adding complexity, structure, and depth without overpowering the Syrah character.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is an excellent match for hearty meat dishes such as lamb, beef, and game, where its structure and spice can stand up to rich flavors. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for one to two hours if drinking young to allow the wine to खुल fully and show its layered aromas.
