Les Rochins comes from a distinguished parcel on Côte Brune, one of the most respected sectors within Côte-Rôtie, where steep slopes and schist-rich soils help produce wines of intensity, structure, and mineral complexity. The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, allowing for careful selection in the vineyard. After fermentation, the wine is matured in barriques for 18 months, adding depth and subtle oak complexity while preserving the purity of the Syrah fruit and the floral, site-specific character of the wine.

This is an excellent partner for lamb, beef, and game dishes, where its dark fruit, spice, and savory mineral notes can stand up to rich flavors. Serve it at around 16–18°C for the best expression, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if drinking young to help the wine open up and show its full aromatic range.
