In the glass, this wine shows a graceful, refined profile with vivid red berry fruit lifted by notes of rose petals and a delicate hint of peony. As it opens, darker fruit tones begin to emerge, adding more dimension and depth to the bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with a lovely sense of clarity and precision, supported by fine, lightly crunchy tannins and a subtle chalky mineral edge. There is excellent purity throughout, with enough structure to reward cellaring for several years, where it should gain further complexity and aromatic nuance.
