Domaine Maillard Corton Blanc Grand Cru 2022 is a rare white Burgundy from one of the most prestigious sites on the Corton hill. With only 0.34 hectares in Les Renardes yielding around 1,500 bottles a year, this is an exclusive Chardonnay that reflects both the power of Grand Cru terroir and the finesse of careful winemaking.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this wine shows the richness and concentration expected from a top Corton Blanc, with remarkable intensity and a polished, complete feel. The nose is layered with ripe stone fruit, especially peach and nectarine, framed by subtle, well-integrated oak and a precise mineral edge. On the palate, it is deep and expressive, with the oak supporting rather than dominating the fruit, adding texture and complexity. The finish is fresh and mineral-driven, giving the wine lift and balance. This is a wine with strong aging potential, capable of evolving beautifully for up to 10 years from the vintage.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from a tiny parcel in Les Renardes on the Corton hill, a historic Grand Cru site in Burgundy known for producing wines of structure, concentration, and long life. During harvest, the fruit is hand-sorted in the vineyard, then fermented in classic 228-liter oak barrels before aging for 18 months prior to bottling.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Corton Blanc is an excellent match for fine fish dishes, especially turbot or other delicate white fish served with a rich sauce, as well as foie gras and mature cheeses. Serve it chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and decanting is optional but can help open the wine if enjoyed in its youth.
