Domaine Maillard Savigny-les-Beaune 2021 is a refined Bourgogne Pinot Noir from a prized 1.82-hectare parcel in Savigny-lès-Beaune, right next to Corton. This is a wine known for its immediate charm, with generous red fruit, lovely balance, and a style that makes it enjoyable young while still reflecting the elegance of classic Burgundy.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a bright, inviting ruby-red color. The nose opens with pure red berries and delicate floral notes, giving it a fresh and lifted character. On the palate, the wine is rounded and supple, with good intensity wrapped in a fresh, accessible style. The fruit remains expressive without feeling heavy, and the 18 months of barrel aging adds subtle structure and polish. It is ready to enjoy now, though it should continue to hold well over the short to medium term.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from a 1.82-hectare parcel in Savigny-lès-Beaune, a Burgundy village located close to the Corton hillside, where the soils and exposure help produce wines with both finesse and lively fruit. After harvest, the wine is matured for 18 months in barrel before bottling, a traditional élevage that adds texture and harmony while preserving the freshness of the Pinot Noir.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is an excellent match for grilled chicken, roast poultry, duck breast, mushroom dishes, and lighter game preparations. Serve at around 16–18°C. Decanting is optional, but a short aeration can help open the aromas if the wine is served young.
