Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a deep, dense ruby color with vivid violet reflections. The nose is layered and expressive, opening with dark berries such as black cherry, blackberry, and blackcurrant, followed by violet, liquorice, cedar, spice, and a subtle touch of new oak with mineral undertones. The palate is full-bodied and powerful, yet finely structured, with firm but well-integrated tannins that give the wine both intensity and elegance. Fresh, balanced acidity lifts the fruit, while notes of chocolate, black tea, dried spices, and a mineral edge unfold on the long, persistent finish. This is a wine built for the cellar and should continue to develop beautifully over decades.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Grand Cru pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as venison, lamb, roast duck, game birds, and mature hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C to allow the aromatic complexity and structure to show at their best. Decanting is recommended, especially in its youth, to open the wine and soften the tannins.
