Domaine Méo-Camuzet Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Boudots 1er Cru 2005 is a powerful and finely tuned Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy’s most respected domaines. Coming from the premier cru vineyard Aux Boudots, it combines depth, structure, and elegance in a style that reflects both the character of Nuits-Saint-Georges and the balance of a standout 2005 vintage.

In the glass, the wine shows an intense ruby colour with early garnet reflections, hinting at its maturity and complexity. The nose is layered and expressive, offering dark berries such as blackberry and blackcurrant, alongside spice, light toasted oak, leather, forest floor, subtle vanilla, and earthy notes. The palate is full-bodied and well structured, with firm yet ripe tannins and a vibrant acidity that keeps the wine fresh and lifted. Flavours of dark fruit, spice, mineral tones, and earthy undertones unfold in a long, elegant finish. With its balance of power and finesse, this wine still has excellent ageing potential.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs beautifully with hearty dishes such as beef, game, and mature cheeses, where its structure and depth can shine. Serve at around 16-18°C, and consider decanting for about 1 hour if drinking it now, especially to help the aromas open fully.
