Domaine Méo-Camuzet Richebourg Grand Cru 2008 is a striking expression of one of Burgundy’s most celebrated vineyards. In the glass, it shows a deep ruby core with garnet reflections, hinting at both maturity and complexity. The palate is powerful yet finely balanced, with dense, ripe tannins and lively acidity carrying the wine’s rich fruit. This is an excellent match for richly flavored dishes such as game, roast beef, duck breast, and truffle-based recipes, where its depth and structure can shine. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if opening now, especially to allow the aromatics and tannins to fully open.
