In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-red color with vivid violet highlights, suggesting both vitality and concentration. The bouquet opens with layers of ripe red cherry and raspberry, followed by floral notes of violet and rose petals, gentle spice, a touch of toasted oak, and a discreet mineral edge that adds complexity. The palate is silky and harmonious, with fine, mature tannins and fresh acidity providing excellent structure. Succulent red fruit, spice, and light earthy undertones unfold across a long, elegant finish. Thanks to the balance of the 2005 vintage, it has the depth to drink beautifully now while still offering further aging potential.
