In the glass, the wine shows a clear ruby-red color with the first hints of brick at the rim, signaling its graceful development. Beneath the fruit, there are layers of spice, gentle smoke, forest floor, and a subtle mineral thread that gives the wine depth and definition. This wine pairs wonderfully with game birds, veal with mushrooms, roast poultry, or refined dishes featuring earthy ingredients such as truffle or forest mushrooms. It also works beautifully with aged, elegant cheeses. Serve at 16-18°C, and consider decanting gently for around 30-60 minutes if drinking now, especially to allow its aromatic complexity to open fully.
