In the glass, the wine shows a bright ruby-red color with violet highlights, immediately hinting at its freshness and vitality. The bouquet is refined and layered, with ripe red cherries and raspberries unfolding alongside violet, rose petal, subtle spice, and a discreet mineral edge. The palate is elegant and beautifully balanced, driven by lively acidity and a supple, silk-like tannin structure. Red berry fruit remains at the core, supported by gentle spice and a fine mineral tension that adds depth and definition. The finish is long, precise, and graceful, with enough concentration to suggest excellent aging potential over the next 8–10 years, and likely beyond in a well-kept cellar.

This is a natural match for refined dishes such as roast poultry, duck breast, mushroom-based plates, or veal, where the wine’s elegance can shine without being overwhelmed. It also pairs beautifully with mature cheeses. Serve slightly cool at around 16–18°C, and while decanting is not essential, a short airing can help reveal its aromatic nuances in its youth.
