Domaine Michel Bouzereau Meursault Grands Charrons 2021 is a finely crafted white Burgundy that captures the classic richness and precision of Meursault. Made from 100% Chardonnay in the respected Grands Charrons vineyard, it combines elegant minerality, creamy texture, and freshness in a style that reflects both the site and the challenging but promising 2021 vintage.

Makuprofiili
Pale golden in the glass, the wine shows a bright and polished appearance that hints at its balance of freshness and depth. The nose opens with white flowers, citrus peel, and green apple, followed by subtle notes of hazelnut, butter, and a delicate mineral edge. On the palate, it is both vibrant and layered, with crisp acidity supporting a fuller, rounded structure. Ripe orchard fruit, citrus, and a fine chalky mineral thread lead into a smooth, lightly creamy finish that feels long and harmonious. While enjoyable now, it has the structure and balance to develop gracefully with further bottle age.

Viininvalmistus
The Grands Charrons vineyard in Meursault is known for its limestone and clay soils, which help shape the wine’s elegance, tension, and signature mineral character. The 2021 growing season was marked by spring frost and reduced yields, but the harvested fruit reached strong quality and delivered excellent concentration. The wine is vinified with careful, precise cellar work to preserve purity of fruit while allowing the Meursault terroir to show through clearly.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs beautifully with rich seafood dishes such as lobster, scallops, or grilled sole, as well as roast chicken, creamy risotto, and buttery poultry preparations. Serve it at 10–12°C to bring out both its freshness and texture. Decanting is not essential, but a short decant can help open the aromatics if enjoying it young.
