In the glass, it shows a beautiful ruby-red colour that hints at its youthful vibrancy. The nose is layered and inviting, with aromas of red cherries, plums, raspberries, forest floor, red liquorice, crushed stones, and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is precise and expressive, delivering flavours of red cherry, redcurrant, and cranberry, supported by subtle notes of smoke and vanilla. It has the structure and balance to evolve beautifully over the coming years, gaining even more complexity with bottle age.

Viininvalmistus
This wine comes from Domaine Parigot’s parcel in Les Grèves, a highly regarded premier cru vineyard in Côte de Beaune known for producing refined and ageworthy Pinot Noir. Most of the fruit is de-stemmed before pressing and fermentation, helping preserve purity of fruit while maintaining structure. The wine is matured for 18 months in total, beginning in a mix of new and used French oak barrels before spending the final 6 months in stainless steel prior to bottling.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Pinot Noir pairs wonderfully with roast duck, quail, game birds, mushroom dishes, and veal, as well as richer vegetarian plates featuring earthy ingredients like lentils or truffle. Serve it at around 15-17°C, and consider decanting for 30-60 minutes if drinking it young to allow the aromas and structure to open up.
