Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows a deep ruby hue that hints at its concentration. The nose opens with dark cherry fruit, violet, a touch of liquorice, and subtle layers of forest floor, spice, and mineral earth. On the palate, the wine is firmly structured yet balanced by ripe tannins and a juicy core of dark fruit. The acidity is well integrated, bringing freshness and lift to the wine’s dense profile, while the finish is dry and persistent with mineral notes and a delicate hint of bitter chocolate. It should age gracefully over the next several years, gaining complexity and softness with time.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from several parcels around Nuits-Saint-Georges, where varied exposures and limestone-marl soils help shape the wine’s layered character and firm structure. Harvesting is done by hand, followed by strict sorting, and fermentation includes a proportion of whole clusters depending on the conditions of the vintage. Fermentation is spontaneous, and the wine is matured for around one year in French oak barrels, with moderate use of new oak to preserve freshness, fruit purity, and the wine’s natural terroir expression.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs beautifully with roast duck, pigeon, game birds, mushroom dishes, beef tenderloin, or braised lamb. It also works well with earthy vegetarian plates such as truffle risotto or lentil-based dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 30–60 minutes if drinking young to allow the aromas and structure to open fully.
