Domaine Roulot Bourgogne Blanc 2019 is a beautifully precise Chardonnay from one of Meursault’s most admired estates. In the glass, this white Burgundy typically shows a pale, luminous gold colour with excellent clarity. The nose is expressive yet restrained, offering notes of citrus zest, green apple, white flowers, and a subtle flinty, chalky edge that speaks to its mineral character. On the palate, it is clean and finely textured, with crisp acidity, a silky mouthfeel, and flavours of lemon, pear, orchard fruit, and wet stone. The finish is long, precise, and saline, with enough depth to reward a few years of cellaring. While approachable now, the 2019 vintage has the structure to age gracefully and gain additional complexity over time.
