Domaine Séguinot-Bordet turns a straightforward Bourgogne Blanc into something notably precise, fresh, and true to its origin. The 2023 vintage showcases the house style at its most vibrant, with clean fruit, subtle complexity, and a classic Chardonnay profile shaped by the vineyards around Chablis.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Bourgogne Blanc shows a bright, pale straw color that hints at its lively character. The nose opens with citrus notes of lemon and lime, followed by green apple, white peach, and a delicate floral touch of acacia, all set against a distinctly chalky mineral backdrop. On the palate, it is dry and finely textured, with a light creaminess balanced by crisp, refreshing acidity. The fruit feels ripe but restrained, and the finish is elegant, saline, and persistent. This is a wine built for youthful drinking, though its balance and structure should allow it to hold nicely over the short to medium term.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from parcels around Chablis, where the soils of limestone and clay provide the tension and finesse that define the wine’s style. Harvesting is carried out with a focus on preserving fruit purity and freshness, and vinification takes place entirely in stainless steel, with no oak influence, allowing the Chardonnay to express its clean fruit and mineral core.

This is a highly versatile white wine that works well with oysters, shellfish, grilled fish, sushi, poultry, and fresh goat cheese. Serve it chilled at around 8-10°C, and decanting is not necessary.
