In the glass, this wine shows a deep ruby hue that hints at its concentration and structure. The nose unfolds with layers of dark berries, spice, and subtle earthy nuances, bringing both intensity and complexity. On the palate, it is powerful yet elegant, with finely integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish. The 2022 vintage should reward patience, as its structure and balance suggest excellent ageing potential over many years, allowing the wine to develop greater depth and savoury complexity with time.

This wine pairs beautifully with richly flavoured dishes such as roast duck, beef tenderloin, game birds, lamb, or mushroom-based recipes. It is best served at around 16–18°C, and decanting for about 1 to 2 hours is recommended, especially in its youth, to help the wine open up and show its full aromatic range.
