Dominus 2014

Dominus 2014 is a striking expression of Napa Valley Cabernet from one of California’s most respected estates. Makuprofiili
In the glass, Dominus 2014 shows a dense plum, ruby, and purple hue that hints at its concentration. The nose is layered and expressive, with aromas of black cherry, plum, red and blackcurrant, cedar, tobacco leaf, licorice, smoke, menthol, chocolate, dried herbs, and warm spice. On the palate, the wine is deep, muscular, and beautifully composed, with a supple texture and impressive mid-palate richness. Flavors unfold gradually, gaining brightness and focus with air, while the finish carries impressive length and complexity. This is a wine with superb aging potential and should continue to evolve gracefully for 20–25 years or more.

Dominus 2014 comes from Napa Valley in California and reflects the estate’s dry-farming philosophy, which has helped produce increasingly focused and resilient vintages. The 2014 vintage was an early harvest year, and production was limited, resulting in a wine with excellent concentration and intensity. The blend is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, vinified to emphasize purity, structure, and layered complexity.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a superb match for classic dishes such as grilled ribeye, lamb rack, slow-braised short ribs, venison, or roast duck with rich sauces. It also pairs well with aged hard cheeses and dishes featuring mushrooms, truffle, or black pepper. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for at least 1–2 hours if opening young to allow the wine to fully раскрыte its aromatic depth and polished structure.
