Dominus 2018 Magnum is a powerful expression of Napa Valley craftsmanship, offering depth, precision, and remarkable balance in a format made for cellaring and celebration. Makuprofiili
In the glass, Dominus 2018 shows a deep, dark ruby-red color that hints at its concentration and intensity. The nose opens with layered aromas of black cherry, cassis, tobacco, warm spice, and a subtle cedar note, creating a perfume that feels both refined and deeply complex. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and tightly structured, with polished tannins and a core of concentrated dark fruit balanced by earthy, savory nuances. The finish is long and graceful, with lingering touches of vanilla and oak. While already impressive, this is a wine with excellent aging potential and will continue to evolve beautifully over many years.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes for Dominus 2018 were hand-harvested from the estate’s best vineyard parcels in Napa Valley, where the long, relatively dry growing season encouraged slow, even ripening. The 2018 vintage saw a later-than-usual harvest, with fruit picked between October 1 and 15, allowing the grapes to develop full flavor while retaining freshness and structure. Fermentation took place in small open-top vats to promote gentle extraction, followed by approximately 18 months of maturation in French oak barrels.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a classic wine for richly flavored dishes such as grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, lamb rack, venison, or truffle-infused mushroom dishes. It also pairs well with aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended if enjoying it young to help the wine open fully.
