Dugat-Py Gevrey-Chambertin Coeur de Roy 2009 is a richly layered Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy’s most characterful villages, made from several old parcels in Gevrey-Chambertin, including vines over 100 years old. Viininvalmistus
Coeur de Roy is made from several old parcels in Gevrey-Chambertin, where the soils are classic Burgundy clay and limestone, helping to shape a wine with both structure and drive. Many of the vines are more than a century old, and Dugat-Py works with extremely low yields to preserve concentration and character. The wine is fermented in small open vats with a long maceration, then aged for around 18 months in new oak barrels, a regimen that adds polish and complexity without masking the vineyard expression.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is an excellent match for rich, savory dishes such as roast duck, game birds, beef fillet, braised short ribs, or mushroom-based recipes with truffle or forest flavors. Serve at around 16-18°C, and if the bottle is newly opened, a short decant can help the wine show its full aromatic depth. For a mature bottle like this one, taste first and decant only if needed to lift the bouquet.
