Dujac Fils & Père Chambolle-Musigny 2008 is a refined expression of one of Burgundy’s most admired villages, shaped by Domaine Dujac’s signature balance of precision, freshness, and aromatic depth. Sourced from carefully selected parcels in the heart of Chambolle-Musigny, it combines old-vine Pinot Noir elegance with a subtle layer of oak-aged complexity. The 2008 vintage now shows the classic poise and delicacy that have made Chambolle-Musigny such a benchmark for graceful red Burgundy.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows a luminous ruby-red color that hints at its maturity and finesse. The nose unfolds with notes of cherry, raspberry, violet, and a gentle touch of spice, giving it a lifted and beautifully perfumed profile. On the palate, it is elegant and well balanced, with fine tannins, vibrant acidity, and a subtle mineral edge that extends the finish. The 2008 vintage has softened into a more rounded, harmonious style while still retaining freshness and clarity. It is drinking well now, though it can continue to evolve gracefully for a few more years under proper cellar conditions.

Viininvalmistus
This wine comes from limestone and clay soils in the heart of Chambolle-Musigny, where old Pinot Noir vines contribute concentration, finesse, and aromatic detail. The grapes are hand-harvested to preserve fruit integrity, then vinified with a portion of whole clusters to enhance complexity and structure. After fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels, with a moderate share of new oak adding depth and a light spicy nuance without overwhelming the purity of the fruit.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Serve this wine with dishes that complement its delicacy and finesse, such as roast duck, quail, veal, mushroom-based dishes, or simply seared tuna. It is best enjoyed slightly cool, around 16–18°C, and decanting is optional but can help the wine open up if it has been cellared for some time.

Today, Dujac remains a benchmark name in the Côte de Nuits and beyond.
