Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows a bright ruby-red color. The nose is expressive and layered, with notes of cherry, raspberry, forest floor, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is elegant yet concentrated, with silky tannins, balanced acidity, and a mineral thread that carries the wine to a long, harmonious finish. The 2009 vintage is now beautifully mature and supple, yet it still retains freshness and clarity. It has excellent drinking appeal today and may continue to evolve gracefully for a few more years.

Viininvalmistus
This wine comes from carefully chosen parcels on limestone and clay soils in Morey-Saint-Denis, where old Pinot Noir vines provide both structure and finesse. The grapes are hand-harvested and vinified with a significant proportion of whole clusters, adding aromatic complexity and balance. After fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels, with a moderate amount of new oak used to contribute depth and spice without masking the purity of the fruit.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
A versatile Burgundy red like this pairs beautifully with roast duck, quail, game birds, mushroom dishes, veal, or poultry with rich sauces. It also works well with soft-ripened cheeses and earthy vegetarian dishes. Serve at around 15–17°C, and decant for about 30–60 minutes if opening now to help the wine show its full aromatic range.
