Dujac Fils & Père Puligny-Montrachet 2008 is a refined expression of one of Burgundy’s most celebrated Chardonnay villages, combining precision, minerality, and quiet complexity. Grown on classic limestone and clay soils in Puligny, it reflects both the elegance of the terroir and the cool, structured character of the 2008 vintage. Aged with subtle oak influence, this is a white Burgundy that balances purity with depth in a beautifully traditional style.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this wine shows a pale golden hue that hints at its developing maturity. The nose opens with citrus, green apple, and white flowers, lifted by gentle toasted and nutty nuances from the oak. On the palate, it is taut and mineral-driven, with vibrant acidity that gives the wine energy and definition. There is a fine creamy texture beneath the freshness, adding length and complexity. The 2008 vintage is now entering an elegant stage of evolution, and while it remains beautifully drinkable, it also has the structure to hold for a few more years in good cellar conditions.

Viininvalmistus
This wine comes from Puligny-Montrachet, where the vineyards are rooted in limestone and clay soils that lend Chardonnay its hallmark precision and mineral tension. The grapes are hand-harvested to preserve quality and selectively pressed before fermentation in oak barrels, with a modest proportion of new oak used to add texture and complexity without masking the wine’s natural clarity. The cool 2008 vintage contributed to a fresh, focused style with lively acidity and a distinctly linear profile.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Serve this Puligny-Montrachet lightly chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, to best show its aromatic detail and mineral drive. It pairs beautifully with dishes such as seared scallops, lobster, roast chicken with cream sauce, poached white fish, or fine poultry dishes with mushrooms. Decanting is not essential, but a brief aeration can help the wine open up if served while still youthful in style.
