DuMOL Finn Pinot Noir 2023 is the estate's flagship expression, showing just how refined and terroir-driven Californian Pinot Noir can be. Sourced from cool-climate sites in Russian River Valley and crafted with a light hand, it combines elegance, precision, and depth in a way that makes it both immediately compelling and highly cellar-worthy.

In the glass, Finn 2023 shows a vivid, polished color and an aromatic profile that unfolds with blood orange, cinnamon, mint, and layers of red and purple fruit. There is an immediate sense of lift and clarity, with the bouquet gaining complexity as the wine opens. The palate is energetic and focused, led by bright acidity and a pure fruit core that moves from citrus-tinged freshness into velvety berry notes. A refined, gravelly mineral edge frames the finish, giving the wine tension, length, and a distinctly cool-climate feel. While already expressive, it has the structure and balance to age gracefully over the medium to long term.

Viininvalmistus
The fruit for Finn comes from carefully selected parcels in Russian River Valley, primarily Bressay Estate Vineyard and Occidental Road Vineyard, where the cool coastal influence helps preserve freshness and aromatic detail. Each site contributes a different layer, from cherry-like richness to cooler structural tension, resulting in a wine with both concentration and finesse. The grapes are handled with minimal intervention, including spontaneous fermentation, and the wine is then matured for around 15 months in French barriques, with approximately one-third new oak to support the fruit without overpowering it.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Pinot Noir is a natural match for roast duck, mushroom risotto, herb-roasted poultry, salmon, and earthy vegetable dishes such as truffle pasta or roasted beetroot. Serve slightly cool, ideally around 14–16°C, to highlight its perfume and freshness. Decanting is recommended for about 30 minutes if enjoyed young, allowing the wine’s aromatics and texture to fully open.
