Enrico Serafino Alta Langa Brut Oudeis Magnum 2021 is a refined classic-method sparkling wine from Piedmont, offering the elegance and depth that have made Alta Langa one of Italy’s most exciting appellations. Crafted predominantly from Pinot Noir with Chardonnay adding lift and finesse, it combines long lees aging, mountain-influenced freshness, and a beautifully persistent mousse. Rooted in the heart of Canale d'Alba, it reflects the historic ambition of Alta Langa: to create world-class sparkling wine in the hills of southern Piedmont.

Makuprofiili
Bright straw yellow in the glass, with a fine and persistent stream of bubbles, this Alta Langa immediately conveys both precision and generosity. The nose is layered and expressive, opening with honey, yellow flowers, and white-fleshed fruit, then unfolding into more savory tones of yeast, brioche, and crusty bread. On the palate, it is ample yet elegant, with lively, fresh acidity that keeps the wine vivid and balanced. There is a pronounced mineral thread beneath the creamy texture and complex fruit, leading to a long, satisfying finish. Thanks to its structure and extended aging on the lees, it should continue to develop complexity over the next few years, gaining even more nuance and depth.

Viininvalmistus
This wine comes from vineyards in the authorized Alta Langa DOCG zone in Piedmont, where the vines are planted at an average altitude of over 400 meters, helping preserve acidity and aromatic freshness. The grapes are carefully sorted on a vibrating table and chilled before being gently whole-pressed in an inert environment. Fermentation takes place entirely in stainless steel at controlled temperatures, and the base wines remain on their lees with periodic bâtonnage before tirage and secondary fermentation in bottle. The wine is then aged for 42 months, building texture, complexity, and a refined mousse.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C to highlight its freshness and fine mousse. It pairs beautifully with oysters, shellfish, sashimi, risotto with seafood, light poultry dishes, or creamy cheeses, and it can also handle more savory fare such as cured meats and truffle-based dishes. Decanting is not recommended; simply open and enjoy to preserve its sparkle and precision.
