Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Il Bruciato 2024 is one of Tuscany’s most approachable expressions of the prestigious Bolgheri style, blending Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, and Petit Verdot for a wine that is both polished and immediately enjoyable. Crafted by Tenuta Guado al Tasso, the Antinori family’s acclaimed Bolgheri estate, it offers a modern, supple interpretation of the region’s Bordeaux-inspired heritage with the warmth and richness that have made Bolgheri famous.

In the glass, Il Bruciato typically shows a deep ruby color with a bright, youthful sheen. The nose opens with ripe blackberries, black cherries, and plum, layered with hints of Mediterranean herbs, sweet spice, violet, and a touch of toasted oak.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with soft tannins, generous fruit, and a rounded, elegant texture. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc provide structure and freshness, while Merlot adds plushness and Syrah brings spice and depth. Petit Verdot contributes color and grip. Serve at around 16–18°C for the best balance of fruit and structure. Decanting for 30–60 minutes is recommended if serving young, especially to open up the aromatics and soften the tannins.
