Hartford Court Seascape Chardonnay 2019 is a striking, coastal expression of Chardonnay from one of California’s most celebrated cool-climate sites. The Seascape Vineyard’s extreme maritime conditions and late harvest have made it one of Hartford’s most distinctive bottlings.

Makuprofiili
Pale gold in the glass, this Chardonnay opens with a remarkably layered and vivid aromatic profile. The nose is packed with green mango, yuzu, mandarin peel, pink grapefruit, oyster shell, and a subtle pastry note that adds depth and sophistication. On the palate, it is equally impressive, unfolding with green apple, pear, citrus zest, brioche, almond, and a delicate touch of honey. Bright acidity and coastal salinity keep the wine energetic and focused, while the extended finish is exceptionally long and persistent. This is a Chardonnay with excellent aging potential, capable of developing greater complexity over the next several years.

Viininvalmistus
Seascape Vineyard lies very close to the Pacific Ocean in a rugged, cool environment that naturally prolongs ripening and often pushes harvest into November. The fruit was harvested under these challenging maritime conditions, whole-cluster pressed, and the juice aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which were new. The wine was left unfiltered, preserving texture, detail, and aromatic intensity.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with rich seafood dishes such as lobster, scallops, crab, or oysters, as well as roasted chicken, creamy pasta, and dishes with beurre blanc or nutty sauces. Serve chilled at around 10–12°C. Decanting is not necessary, but a brief aeration can help reveal its full aromatic complexity.
