Henri Richard Gevrey-Chambertin Les Tuileries 2019 is a refined, terroir-driven Pinot Noir from the heart of the Côte de Nuits. Sourced from a small parcel high in the Aux Corvées climat, it captures the depth and precision that make Gevrey-Chambertin one of Burgundy’s most admired villages. The wine reflects both traditional craftsmanship and the pedigree of a prized limestone-and-stone site with real historical Burgundian character.

In the glass, Les Tuileries 2019 shows a vivid, intense ruby color. The nose is expressive and lifted, with floral notes, fresh red berries, subtle spice, and a distinct mineral edge that adds definition and finesse. On the palate, it is clean, precise, and firmly structured, with fine tannins and lively acidity carrying flavors of red fruit, gentle pepper, and a long, mineral finish. The 2019 vintage is generous enough to enjoy now, but it also has the balance and structure to develop beautifully over the next 5 to 10 years, gaining complexity and nuance with time.

Viininvalmistus
This wine comes from a small parcel in the Aux Corvées climat in Gevrey-Chambertin, where the soils are marked by gravel, limestone, and rocky elements that give the wine its tense, mineral profile. The grapes are Pinot Noir, harvested with care to preserve freshness and site expression. Vinification is carried out with gentle whole-cluster fermentation and natural fermentation in open concrete vats, followed by up to 18 months of aging in classic Burgundian oak barrels. The wine is moved only by gravity and bottled without fining or filtration to retain its full structure and authenticity.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Serve this wine with fine meat dishes such as roast duck, beef tenderloin, or game, as well as mushroom-based plates, truffle risotto, and mature cheeses. It is best enjoyed at around 16-18°C. Decanting is recommended if drinking young, as it will help open the aromatic profile and soften the structure.
