Hubert Lignier Chambolle-Musigny Les Chabiots 1er Cru 2015 is a beautifully perfumed Burgundy that captures the finesse and charm of Chambolle-Musigny, while still carrying the depth and structure for which Hubert Lignier is known. Sourced from a tiny 0.25-hectare parcel, this is a rare, small-production Pinot Noir with a distinctly expressive, nuanced style and excellent ageing potential.

Makuprofiili
The wine shows a luminous ruby hue in the glass, reflecting the delicacy typical of top Pinot Noir from Chambolle-Musigny. On the nose, it is floral and generous, unfolding with kirsch, redcurrant, hoisin, and a subtle orange-cordial lift that becomes more pronounced with air. The palate is medium-bodied and caressing, with a fleshy opening and a lively, almost effervescent texture. Flavours of blood orange and quince juice give it energy and brightness, while the finish remains harmonious and refined. It already offers immediate charm, but it has the balance and concentration to age gracefully over the medium to long term.

Les Chabiots is a small Premier Cru site in Chambolle-Musigny, where Pinot Noir tends to express lifted aromatics, elegance, and a silky texture. Hubert Lignier sources fruit from a 0.25-hectare parcel, and the domaine’s approach emphasizes fruit purity and terroir expression, with no use of pesticides or herbicides. The wine is made in a traditional Burgundian style, with careful vinification aimed at preserving finesse, depth, and structure.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Premier Cru Pinot Noir is a natural match for roast duck, guinea fowl, veal, game birds, or mushroom-based dishes, as well as fine poultry with a light jus. Serve it slightly cool, ideally around 15–17°C, and consider decanting for 30–60 minutes if drinking young to allow the aromatic layers to fully open.

Hubert Lignier is a fifth-generation family domaine with roots dating back to 1880, when Jacques Lignier began acquiring vines in Morey-Saint-Denis in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. Today the estate is run by Hubert and Laurent Lignier, who oversee around nine hectares and produce wines across village, Premier Cru, and Grand Cru levels, with a strong reputation for depth, concentration, and ageing potential. The domaine is especially respected in Morey-Saint-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin, and its wines are widely admired for combining traditional Burgundy character with impressive precision and elegance.
