Hundred Acre Morgans Way Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 Magnum is a formidable Napa Valley Cabernet from Jayson Woodbridge, a producer known for uncompromising precision and a relentless pursuit of perfection. Crafted in tiny, meticulous lots and raised with exceptional care, this wine stands out for its depth, purity, and age-worthy structure. In magnum format, it has even greater potential to evolve gracefully over time, making it especially compelling for collectors.

Makuprofiili
The wine shows a deep, near-opaque colour that hints at its concentration and intensity. The nose is rich and layered, unfolding with blackcurrant, blackberry, dark chocolate, espresso, cedar, graphite, and a subtle note of pipe tobacco. On the palate, it is densely packed yet beautifully polished, with silky tannins and wave after wave of dark fruit, floral nuance, and spice. Everything feels finely tuned and in balance, finishing with remarkable length. While already impressive, this is a wine that will continue to gain complexity with cellaring and is likely to shine for many years ahead.

Viininvalmistus
Morgans Way Vineyard is farmed with exacting attention, and the fruit is harvested by hand before undergoing rigorous bunch-by-bunch sorting. Fermentation takes place in small parcels to preserve precision and detail, followed by ageing in new French oak barrels made from the central part of the wood and dried for three years before coopering. The wine matures for up to 30 months, allowing it to build depth, texture, and harmony.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Cabernet Sauvignon is a natural match for premium beef dishes such as ribeye, filet mignon, or a slow-roasted prime rib, as well as lamb, venison, and richly flavoured mushroom dishes. Serve it at around 16–18°C to best appreciate its structure and aromatics. Decanting for at least 1–2 hours is recommended, especially in its youth, to allow the wine to open and show its full complexity.
