Jean-Louis Moissenet-Bonnard Meursault 2023 is a beautifully classic Burgundy Chardonnay from one of Meursault’s most admired villages. Made from 100% Chardonnay, it combines richness, elegance, and the unmistakable depth that has made Meursault one of the region’s most sought-after white wine appellations.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Meursault shows a pale straw-yellow color with subtle green reflections. The bouquet is expressive and layered, offering ripe citrus, apple, white flowers, and delicate hints of nuts and butter. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rounded, with fresh acidity balancing a creamy texture and a long, persistent finish marked by gentle oak spice and mineral notes. The 2023 vintage brings impressive ripeness and concentration, giving the wine both immediate charm and the structure to age gracefully. While already approachable, it should develop additional complexity over the next 5 to 10 years, gaining more nuance and depth with time.

Sourced from vineyards in Meursault, where limestone-rich soils and a favorable Bourgogne terroir help shape wines with both richness and precision. The warm 2023 growing season allowed the Chardonnay grapes to reach excellent maturity, resulting in concentrated fruit and balanced natural freshness. The wine is vinified in a traditional Burgundy style to preserve the character of the site, with careful handling to build texture, complexity, and a refined expression of oak and minerality.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Meursault is an excellent match for roast chicken, veal in cream sauce, lobster, scallops, mushroom dishes, and rich fish such as turbot or sea bass. It also pairs beautifully with soft cheeses like Brie or aged Comté. Serve at around 10–12°C, and decanting is optional but can help reveal extra aromatic complexity if the wine is opened young.
