In the glass, the wine shows a clear, intense ruby-red color with a polished, inviting brightness. The nose opens with ripe cherry and blackberry, followed by subtle spice and a delicate smoky note from the oak. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with generous fruit, well-integrated tannins, and lively acidity that keeps everything fresh and focused. Viininvalmistus
Les Criots 2023 comes from Meursault in Burgundy, a village better known for Chardonnay but capable of producing expressive Pinot Noir when handled with care. The grapes are hand-harvested and fully destemmed, then undergo a short cold maceration before fermentation with native yeasts. The wine is aged for around 12 to 16 months in French barriques, with approximately 25–30% new oak, allowing the terroir to remain front and center while adding polish and structure.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roast poultry, duck, mushroom dishes, veal, and lighter game, as well as earthy vegetarian plates such as lentil stew or wild mushroom risotto. Serve it slightly cool, ideally around 15–17°C. Decanting is optional, but a short decant of 20–30 minutes can help open the wine in its youth.
