Kosta Browne’s 2021 Russian River Chardonnay is a rich, polished California white that shows exactly why this appellation is so highly regarded. Sourced from six of the region’s finest vineyards, including Ritchie, Charles Ranch, and Bootlegger’s Hill, it combines concentration, elegance, and unmistakable Russian River character in one impressive bottle.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Chardonnay is deep and inviting, with a generous, textured profile that immediately suggests both ripeness and refinement. The nose opens with layers of lemon, peach, apricot, pineapple tart, butter, toasted bread, and white flowers. On the palate, it delivers impressive depth and intensity, with flavors of lemon, peach, honey, and butter unfolding over a long, mineral-tinged finish marked by wet stone and oyster shell. The oak is well integrated, adding richness without overshadowing the fruit, and the wine has the structure to develop nicely over the next several years.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from six top sites across the Russian River Valley, where the cool-climate conditions and diverse vineyard expressions help build both freshness and complexity. The fruit is harvested by hand, allowing careful selection in the vineyard, and the juice is fermented in oak barrels before aging for 14 months in French oak, 40% of which is new.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with lobster, roasted chicken, creamy pasta, seared scallops, or rich dishes with buttery sauces. Serve chilled at around 10–12°C, and consider a short decant if you want to open up its aromas and texture more quickly.
