In the glass, Krug 2000 shows a luminous golden color with very fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is intense and layered, opening with caramelized fruit, citrus peel, toasted brioche, and subtle spice, all unfolding with real complexity and nuance. The palate is generous and multi-dimensional, with ripe fruit notes framed by vibrant acidity and a refined mineral edge. The wine feels both broad and precise, finishing long and persistent with a beautiful balance of freshness and depth.
