On the palate, Chardonnay brings brightness and aromatic lift, while Pinot Noir and Meunier add structure, depth, and a quiet layer of ripe fruit that rounds out the wine beautifully. Krug selected a blend of 41% Pinot Noir, 38% Chardonnay, and 21% Meunier, creating a cuvée that balances intensity with finesse. The wine reflects the house’s meticulous vinification approach and its ability to shape a distinctive vintage expression from a demanding year.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Krug 2013 works beautifully as an aperitif, but it truly shines at the table with refined dishes such as oysters, shellfish, sashimi, grilled white fish, or poultry with citrus and herb accents. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C. Decanting is generally not necessary, though a short period in the glass can help the wine раскры its full aromatic range.
