In the glass, it shows a beautiful light golden color with a fine, lively mousse that hints at its precision and elegance. The nose is layered and inviting, offering floral notes, ripe dried citrus, marzipan, and gingerbread, with subtle touches of honey and toast. On the palate, it is generous and complex, with flavors of hazelnut, nougat, citrus jelly, almonds, brioche, and honey unfolding in waves. The magnum format helps preserve freshness and adds further refinement, while the wine’s structure and concentration suggest excellent aging potential for those willing to cellar it further.

Viininvalmistus
Krug Grande Cuvée is blended from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier sourced from multiple vintages, a process that allows the house to build complexity beyond what a single harvest can offer. After careful selection and blending, the wine matures for around seven years in Krug’s cellars, developing its signature finesse, texture, and aromatic depth. This meticulous élevage is central to the wine’s distinctive style and enduring elegance.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Champagne pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as lobster, scallops, roast chicken, truffle risotto, aged Parmesan, or even delicate savory pastries. Serve chilled at around 9–11°C, and while decanting is not generally necessary, allowing it a few minutes in the glass can help the aromas open fully, especially in magnum format.
