Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows a bright, translucent ruby colour that hints at its delicate style. The nose opens with vibrant aromas of red cherries, raspberries, and ripe strawberries, layered with rose petals, gentle spice, and a discreet touch of toasted oak. On the palate, it is juicy and graceful, with flavours of red berries, cherry, and a hint of cranberry supported by soft, well-integrated tannins. Fresh acidity keeps the wine lively and balanced, while a subtle mineral note and a whisper of spice add complexity to the clean, persistent finish. Viininvalmistus
The grapes for Village Pinot Noir are selected from cool Auckland vineyards, where the climate helps preserve freshness, aromatic intensity, and fine structure in the fruit. The wine is fermented and then matured for a short period in French oak barrels, including a small proportion of new oak, which adds gentle structure and seasoning without overwhelming the varietal character.
