Louis Roederer Brut Vintage 2015 is a characterful Champagne made only in the house’s finest years, when the vintage is deemed worthy of standing on its own. Built on a Pinot Noir-led blend with Chardonnay bringing lift and finesse, it captures both the power of the year and the elegance that defines Louis Roederer’s style.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a bright pale-golden hue with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is expressive and layered, with Pinot Noir at the forefront: red berries such as raspberry and cherry, followed by Chardonnay-driven notes of dried fig and apricot, and a subtle toasted complexity from oak ageing. On the palate, the wine has real structure and breadth, yet remains beautifully balanced by freshness and a velvety texture. Flavours of white peach, citrus, and rosehip unfold alongside hints of vanilla and bitter chocolate. This is a powerful and refined vintage Champagne with excellent aging potential, likely to develop even more nuance over time.

Viininvalmistus
For this vintage, Louis Roederer selected parcels from its best years to express the individual personality of 2015. The blend is 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, with 27% of the wine undergoing malolactic fermentation and 39% matured in oak casks to add depth and complexity. The second fermentation in bottle lasted four years, while the dosage is composed of reserve wines from the estate’s best Grand Cru vineyards and aged in oak for 4 to 10 years.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a versatile and substantial Champagne that works well both as an aperitif and at the table. Try it with white meats, poultry, or richer seafood dishes, and serve it chilled at around 8–10°C. Decanting is not usually necessary, though a few minutes in the glass will help the aromas open up.
